5 Small Lifesaver Gadgets Every Traveler Should Carry in Their Backpack

Deciding what to pack and what to leave behind can be a challenge for any traveler, whether you’re going for a city break or a two months holiday. Gadgets, in particular, can be problematic. They are easily breakable and tempting for thieves. Not to mention, they can affect your entire travel experience.

But, whether you like them or not, gadgets have become a vital part of traveling. To help you out, we’ve put together a list of five essential gadgets that provide value and can improve your holidays significantly.

  1. A Power Splitter – So That You Can Charge All Your Devices at Once

The last thing you want when you’re visiting a new city is to worry about finding an outlet to charge your phone or camera. Even if you are lucky enough to find one without too much trouble, you probably don’t want to wait around for each of your device to charge. It will take forever!

So, why not save some time and invest in a power splitter?

This gadget has multiple USB and AC ports that allow you to charge all of your devices at once. So, just plug them all in and have a coffee while you wait to get back to your busy sightseeing schedule.

  1. A Second Battery Charger – for When You Can’t Get to an Outlet

What’s the first thing you do when you land in a new city or country? You take your phone out and start taking pictures – lots of pictures.

We don’t have to tell you that when you’re on vacation, your devices tend to run out of battery faster than usual. You’re taking tons of pictures, using Google map, listening to music, and so on.

A power bank could come in handy in these moments.

Keep in mind, though, that the best power banks can charge two devices at the same time, are lightweight and easy to carry around, and ensure safety from overcharging.

  1. Touch Screen Gloves – So That Your Fingers Don’t Freeze When You’re on a Hike

Regardless if you’re an avid traveler or just a big fan of skiing, touch gloves are a definite must have. Not only that they’ll keep your hands warm and protect you from the elements, but you can also use your phone without having to take your gloves off. Just think about it: the last thing you would want when you’re hiking in freezing temperatures is to take off your gloves to be able to check your Google map or take a picture.

  1. An Organizer – So You Don’t Lose Anything Important

How many times did you have a small panic attack looking through your bag and thinking that you’ve forgotten your iPhone charger at home or, worse, that it was stolen?

With a Grid-It Organizer, you can store all your cables, pens, gadgets, and so on in just one place. That way, you won’t have to turn everything upside down anymore because you can’t find a small device, like your memory stick, in your huge backpack.

  1. A Hotspot – for Good Internet Connection

Wi-Fi hotspots are pretty common nowadays, but the connection isn’t always fast. To avoid this problem, simply pack a wireless hotspot in your backpack. That way, no matter what, you can rest assured that you can post your holiday pics on your Instagram account.

The best thing about the gadgets above is that they are lightweight and won’t take too much space in your bag. Why not make your life easier and safer by throwing them in together with your travel essentials?
