White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg in Russia

It is an international art festival that takes place during the seasons of the phenomenon midnight sun. Up Helly Aa Fire Festival in Scotland 

The Fire Festival takes place in Shetland and it happens on the last Tuesday of every January each and every year. The festival involves a variety of visitations and matches, with the climax being a torch being lit during a procession as well as the burning of a gallery. This is then followed by several hours of performing dances and acts in the halls around Lerwick.  

Carnival of Venice  

This is a traditional carnival that has been around for over 900 years. It used to be a day during the year when all the rules were suspended and so anyone could do whatever they wanted without worrying about any consequences. People would put on masks so that no one would recognize them as they went about with their debauchery. During the festival today, the streets of Venice become alive with a lot of men and women disguised in masks with entertainers, bands, and jugglers doing what they know how to do best.
