Sunflower Fields in Indiana
Below is a list of sunflower fields in Indiana. Note: Some sunflower fields close after too much rain and dates are adjusted so make sure to check their facebook pages for the most up to date hours, dates and weather related closures before you go.
Sunflower Fields in Northwest Indiana
Where: 8960 East Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342 (located about 41 miles from Chicago and 10 miles from Gary, Indiana)
When: Sunflower Fun Farm Weekend will be held on September 11-12 and 18-19, 2021.
Hours: 10am – 6pm (last admission is 5pm)
Cost: Fun Farm admission is $9.00 per person and includes access to the U Pick fields, jump pad, jump pillow, obstacle course, pipe swing, triple slide, pedal karts, blue-choo, tram rides, goat village, Johnson’s town, and corn box.
Johnson’s Farm Produce has planted over 20 acres of sunflowers this year. They offer sunflower U Pick. In addition to their sunflower fields, they have also planted a field of zinnias.
County Line Orchard
Where: 200 S. County Line Rd, Hobart, IN 46342 (located about 43 miles from downtown Chicago)
Dates: The farm opens September 1, 2021. The best sunflower picking is from mid to late September.
Hours: 9am – 6pm daily
Cost: General admission is $2 per person. Pay for what you pick: $2 for large or $2 for small bunch.
County Line Orchard has a sunflower patch but this farm has a lot of fun activities for kids including apple picking, tractor rides, a kid farm, corn maze and more. Check their Facebook page for most current information.
Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch
Where: 17904 Grant St, Lowell, IN 46356 (located about 61 miles from downtown Chicago and 130 miles from Indianapolis)
Dates: U-pick sunflower season is July 17-September 5, 2021.
Hours: Wednesday – Friday 3pm – 7:30pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am – 6pm.
Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch has acres of flower fields including sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, and more. There are vintage inspired photo opportunities throughout the meadows. You can also enjoy tasty treats on the farm from fresh lemonade, iced coffee, and donuts on weekends only. Pets are not allowed.
Sunflower Fields in Michiana
Where: 61391 Mayflower Rd. South Bend, IN 46614
When: The July sunflower field has closed. The sunflower field will reopen September 16 and they anticipate it blooming through October 3, 2021 (dependent on the weather).
Hours: Weekdays 3 pm to 8 pm; Saturdays 10 am to 8 pm; Sundays 1 pm to 6 pm
Cost: Admission to the sunflower field is $7 per person. Ages 2 and under are free. Prices for U-Pick are $1 per stem for basic yellow sunflowers, $2 per stem for specialty sunflowers $.50 per stem for zinnias. Tickets for the sunflower field will be only available at the farm this fall (not online).
Thistleberry Farm has a 6 acre sunflower field with zinnias for u-pick and pictures. You may bring a dog to the sunflower field for pictures as long as you keep it on a leash, it is well behaved, and you clean up after it.
Field to Vase U-Pick Flower Farm
Where: 55923 Tulip Road, New Carlisle, IN 46552 (located about 10 miles west of South Bend, Indiana)
When: Opening day is July 3, 2021 and after that they will be open again July 10 until October (best time to visit late July/August or September)
Hours: 10 am – 6 pm on Thursday and Friday; 9 am – 3 pm on Saturday; 10 am – 3 pm on Sunday
Cost: 50 cents per stem for most u-pick flowers except sunflowers are $1.
They will also have craft vendors, a vegetable vendor, live music, prepicked and u-pick on weekends.

Sunflower Fields in Central Indiana Near Indianapolis
P&D Flower Farm
Where: 7749 E. 1000 N., Indianapolis, IN 46259
When: Their U-Pick Flower Farm Field is open to the public June 25, 2021 – October 10, 2021.
Hours: 10 am – 6 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Cost: Entry of the farm is $5/person & kids 12 and under are free.

Where: 5717 N. 300 W., Greenfield, IN 46140 (located about 21 miles from Indianapolis)
Dates: They have planted three separate plantings of sunflowers they hope will bloom on and off from late July through mid September. As of August 2, they are in peak bloom. The week of week of August 8-14 they will be still open but probably past peak bloom. There will be additional plantings of sunflowers opening in September.
Hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm and closed Sunday. Must purchase tickets online in advance to attend. Not all tickets will be available the beginning of the season; additional ticket times will be listed a few days in advance as the bloom progresses.
Cost: Admission is $8/person ages 2 and up. Children 1 and under are free and no ticket is needed. Ticket includes Tractor Town Kid’s Play Area. Cost of cut sunflowers is $3/flower head (includes tax). A self-service wrapping station will be available. Cut your own sunflowers are paid for the day you attend.
Tuttle Orchards has a sunflower trail which is approximately 4 acres of sunflowers to walk through in a one way path. It takes about 20 minutes to walk through the trail. Pets are not allowed. Make sure to read their guidelines for photographers.

Where: 7177 E 161st Street, Noblesville, IN (located about 28 miles north of Indianapolis)
Dates: Their 2021 sunflower season is over.
Hours: Mondays-Saturdays from 9am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-6pm (entry ends 30 minutes prior to closing).
Cost: Entry fee is $5 per person and 2 and under free. Cut stems are $3.
Spencer Farm had a 3.5 acre field of sunflowers. During regular public business hours photos may be taken by the general public guests for personal use and props, tripods, etc. are not be permitted. Wea Creek Orchard

Beasley’s Orchard has planted 6 acres of sunflowers.
Where: 17474 W. Hunnicut Road, Cambridge City, IN 47327 (located 56 miles east of Indianapolis)
When: Open July – October, 2021 depending on when the sunflowers bloom.
Cost: $5 general admission per person; $5 more to pick your own bouquet (they supply jars, water and snips). Professional photographers and clients are welcome with no additional charge.
The Barn at Crystal Spring Farm
Where: 3620 Hurricane Road, Franklin, IN 46131 (located 20 miles south of Indianapolis)
Dates: Opened on June 21, 2021.
Hours: From dawn to dusk.
Cost: 3 flowers for $1
The Barn at Crystal Spring Farm’s you cut sunflower field is open. Bring your own clippers and park south of the cemetery.

The Barn at Helm
Where: 5544 W Helm Rd, Williamsburg, IN 47393 (located about 70 miles east of Indianapolis)
When: They will have sunflowers from mid July through October.
When: Open Wednesday- Friday 4pm to dark and Saturdays 2pm to dark from now until the October frost. (Closed the following Fridays for special events: August 6, August 20, September 10 & October 1)
Cost: $5 per person to enter. Additional cost of $20 (vase included) if you want to cut a vase of flowers.
The Barn at Helm has a great sunflower field and upick flowers.They have over 80 different varieties of flowers & sunflowers. In addition to sunflowers they have multiple other flower types including high end flowers (dahlias, lisianthus, gladiola, etc) included in UPick.
